Taking part in the Young Lawyers for Climate Justice workshop made it clear to me that there is an immediate requirement for legal measures and cooperation in tackling environmental issues. It underscored the importance of advocacy driven by youth and the implementation of sustainable solutions.

The training was truly valuable, particularly due to the effective use of images, simplified language, and slides to convey the information. My expectation of gaining a better understanding of climate change and climate justice was not only met but exceeded, thanks to ICCDI Africa.

The purpose of the summit was to raise awareness and emphasize the significant role played by human activities in the ongoing deterioration of the climate, as well as to promote effective measures to address this pressing issue. Given the significant knowledge gap concerning climate change and its impact on Nigerians, it is crucial to develop a strong understanding of this subject.

Attending this webinar or workshop was a wonderful opportunity for me, as I had not previously participated in any event that provided such a clear and explicit explanation of what Climate Change is.

I had an incredible experience! The webinar made the concept of climate change and justice so easy to understand. It became as simple as ABC for me. I now realize that climate change is a harsh reality, and it has motivated me to advocate for a sustainable climate.

In order to create a positive impact in the world, it is crucial to develop our capacity, as taking misguided action can be even more harmful than taking no action at all. This is precisely what this workshop has achieved for me. With its informative and engaging speakers, as well as active participation from highlevel participants, my perspective on the potential impact I can have on the environment through my profession as a lawyer has been completely transformed. This workshop has equipped me with the necessary skills and knowledge to actively contribute to the change I wish to see.
